“BREAKING NEWS UPDATE”
PENSIONERS WILL SEE A 2.1% INCREASE TO THEIR PAYMENTS, THE LARGEST INCREASE SINCE 2013.
From March 20th 2022 the maximum full age pension increase is $20.10 per fortnight for a single person – the single age pension will rise to $987.60.
For a combined couple, the rise an increase of $15.10 per fortnight per person – the combined full age pension will rise to $1,488.80.
The age pension has increased in the March indexation along side the Disability Support Pension and Carer Payment in the biggest rise in almost a decade.
